Community Guidelines

QuizLemon lets anyone create a quiz and share it. To keep it a friendly place for everyone, every quiz has to follow the rules below. Create a quiz or browse the community.

What isn't allowed

  • Profanity, insults, bullying or harassment of any person or group.
  • Hate, discrimination or violence, including threats and content about self-harm.
  • Bullying and harassment: insults aimed at a person, “nobody likes you”-style put-downs, doxxing, threats to expose or report someone, and raiding a page or channel.
  • Anything involving children in a sexual or unsafe way, including jokes about it, grooming phrases (“don’t tell your parents”, “send me a photo”, “meet after school”) and asking a young person for their age, school, address or photos.
  • Sexual or erotic content.
  • Politics: politicians, parties, elections and political slogans. We keep QuizLemon fun and neutral.
  • Gambling, drugs, and quizzes that pretend to diagnose health conditions.
  • Personal information such as real names of private people, phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or links.
  • Spam, advertising and repeated or meaningless text.

How quizzes are checked

Every quiz is checked automatically before it is published, in English and several other languages. The check looks at the title, description, nickname, results, questions and answers. Our own rules run first and instantly; text that passes them is also sent to free third-party safety services — Google’s Gemini, Cloudflare’s Llama Guard and (when enabled) OpenAI Moderations — so harassment, sexual content and anything involving children gets caught in languages our rules don’t cover. If something is flagged, we tell you which field and you can fix it and try again. There is no manual approval step, so quizzes appear right away: this is why we ask you to read these rules and why the checks are strict. Automatic checks aren't perfect. If you see something that shouldn't be here, please report it.

Child safety

QuizLemon is for adults and older teenagers, and we treat child safety as a hard limit rather than a preference. Text that sexualises anyone under 18, jokes about it, or tries to start a private conversation with a young person is rejected automatically — including indirect wording and word combinations that only look innocent separately. We also block questions that ask a child for identifying details such as their age, school, class, teacher or home. Attempts are logged with the device’s IP address so we can act on abuse, and content that crosses this line is never published, even for a moment.

How long your quiz stays online

Community quizzes are temporary on purpose. Every quiz is deleted automatically 48 hours after it was created, together with its result page, whether or not anyone played it. There is no way to keep one forever, so share your link while it is fresh.

Reporting

Every community quiz has a “Report this quiz” button. When a quiz receives 3 reports from different people it is hidden automatically, and we review it. Quizzes that break the rules are removed.

Your quiz, your control

When you publish, a private delete key is stored in your browser. You can delete your quiz at any time from the “Your quizzes on this device” list on the Community page. If you lose the key, contact us at bilici.emre035@gmail.com with the link and we will help.

What we record

To keep the community safe we keep a log of who created what: the date and time, the IP address and browser details of the device, the nickname you chose, and the title of your quiz. Blocked attempts are logged too. These records are used only for safety, abuse prevention and legal obligations, and are deleted after 90 days. Quiz content is stored in our own database (Google Firebase is used only when it is enabled for the site). Text may also be sent to an automated content-safety service. See our Privacy Policy.

Where quizzes appear

Community quizzes are shown only on links you share and, if you choose, on the Community page. They are excluded from search engines. Community quizzes are made by users and are not endorsed by QuizLemon.
